Reasons basketball is better than football:
• the players are taller
• the ball is rounder
• it is not played on a field
• there aren't 100 people playing at once
• the area in which to score is much smaller
• sometimes a stray ball flies into the crowd and a lucky fan gets to keep it as a souvenir
Alt. opinion on why football is better though:
• if it snows, it is integrated into the game
• the uniforms are more elaborate and robust
• the final game of the season has a special name
• the ball can be kicked sometimes
• there is better food when it is watched from home
• the coach of the winning team is often doused in sports beverage
